Fire alarm monitoring in Canada has traditionally relied on fragmented delivery paths, multiple hand-offs, and outdated transmission models.

OPEN ACCESS™ was created to modernize fire alarm signal delivery by supporting direct electronic transmission pathways, reducing delays, and helping the life-safety ecosystem align with CAN-ULC/S561 requirements, including the expectation that fire alarm signals are delivered to the fire department within 30 seconds of receipt, where applicable.
